The Englewood/Teaneck Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on March 22, 1987. Since its inception, service to the community has been one of our major objectives, with special attention to youth. As part of our community service program, we provide Thanksgiving
food baskets for the less fortunate members of our community
as well as Christmas toys for children at an area Child Development
Center.
We frequently support, contribute to, and participate in several
community outreach programs sponsored by local organizations and
churches. Today, 30 men of achievement call the Englewood/Teaneck (NJ)
Alumni Chapter home. These men are involved in every aspect of
the community and serve in a host of leadership positions from
medicine to religious
institutions and from corporate America to Public Service. These
men have also
established a solid presence at Fairleigh Dickinson University,
Teaneck Metropolitan Campus. They conduct their monthly meeting
in the Kron
Lounge of the Student Union the third Saturday of every month.
In addition, members have been present at a host of events throughout
the school year.
