Guide Right

The Fraternity began "Guide Right", its national social out-reach program, in 1922. Today, National Guide Right programs provide programming, role models, mentors, and financial assistance for at risk youth in communities throughout the country.

ETAC in support of the fraternity’s national “Guide Right” inititives, have programs for the educational and occupational guidance of youth.

Objectives of Guide Right:

  • To inspire service in the public interest through the cultural enrichment and character development of high school males.
  • To develop leadership skills while monitoring, encouraging and rewarding outstanding academic performance.
  • To refine self-image, self esteem social skills and environmental awareness.
  • To assist parents in the handling of their children by giving them opportunities to talk over problems with those who know and are successful in their chosen vocations.
  • To inform youths of the value of higher education, assistance available for continued educational pursuits, scholarships, loans professional counseling and fellowships.
